Melbourne-based duo Duck Duck Goose infuses the haunting timbres of oboe and Scottish smallpipes, evoking an earthy and rustic sound world that is startlingly unique. At home amongst the reeds, Sarah Wade (pipes, concertina) and Jessica Foot (oboe, fiddle) explore the moods and modes of northern Europe - melodies gathered from England, Scotland, France and Scandinavia - through which they weave a distinctive fabric of their own.
